About the Event

Join us for a fun-filled day of sports, fellowship, friendly competition, and community spirit at the DFIC Sportsfest 2026!

This annual gathering brings together members of the Drogheda Filipino-Irish Community for an exciting day of activities designed for all ages. Whether you’re competing, cheering from the sidelines, or simply enjoying the company of friends and family, there’s something for everyone.

Participants can look forward to sports competitions, Filipino traditional games, a community potluck lunch, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow members.

Membership Requirement

This is an exclusive DFIC Members-Only event.

Attendance is open to current DFIC members and eligible family members. Individuals who are not yet members and wish to participate must first register for DFIC membership and meet the applicable membership eligibility requirements.

Please note: Submission of a membership application does not automatically guarantee membership. All applications are subject to DFIC’s membership eligibility requirements and approval process.

Exception: Players, coaches, and accompanying supporters participating in the U14/U16 Teens Basketball Exhibition Game (Drogheda Venom vs Batang Ireland) who are travelling from outside Drogheda may attend without DFIC membership for the purpose of participating in or supporting the exhibition game.

A community potluck lunch will be held from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM.

To ensure a good variety of food and drinks for everyone, each participating household is encouraged to bring:
